The ISUZU D-MAX Single Cab is available with a choice of 1.9- or 3.0-litre turbo-charged diesel engines, providing the power and torque required for demanding working conditions. The upgraded 3.0-litre Ddi engine has been optimised to deliver more torque at lower engine speeds, improved pull-off and acceleration, reduced noise levels, and optimised fuel consumption. It produces 140 kW of peak power at 3,600 r/min and maximum torque of 450 Nm between 1,600 and 2,600 r/min. The 1.9-litre Ddi engine uses common rail direct injection to produce 110 kW of maximum power at 3,600 r/min, with peak torque of 350 Nm available between 1,800 and 2,600 r/min. The result is an excellent balance of performance, fuel economy, and low running costs – ideal for businesses and drivers who spend long hours on the road. The all-new ISUZU D-MAX Single Cab also features a revised body and frame with increased strength, new front and rear suspension, a longer wheelbase, and a wider, tougher chassis. With a wading depth of up to 800 mm, it is ready to take on challenging conditions, while its improved ride and handling provide confidence both on and off the road. Smart, ‘gradelogic’ transmission helps keep the ISUZU D-MAX Single Cab in the appropriate gear for the terrain, helping to prevent unnecessary over-revving and fuel consumption.
