The new ISUZU D-MAX offers customers looking for a solid and dependable single cab workhorse a choice between two trim levels: Standard and L – the latter also offering 4x2 and 4x4 versions. All Single Cab models are powered by the new 1.9-litre turbodiesel powerplant with 110 kW of power available at 3 600 r/min and peak torque of 350 Nm on tap between 1 800 and 2 600 r/min. The engine’s eager output reaches the road via 205R16C rubber on 16-inch steel wheels for the Standard model and 255/65R17 tyres on 17-inch steel wheels on the remaining three L derivatives. Designed with effortless delivery in mind, and emphasising its practicality as a workhorse, the loadbox of the Single Cab is 2 330 mm in length, 1 590 mm in width and 465mm deep. The Standard model features an AM/FM radio with a CD Player and Bluetooth connectivity, two speakers, a USB port, lockable glovebox, manual air-conditioning, an immobiliser and cloth upholstery for the seats. In addition, it comes standard with Follow Me Home Headlamps Anti-lock Brakes (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist, Hill Start Assist (HAS), Hill Descent Control (HDC), Trailer Sway Control, dual airbags and hydraulic power steering. Key exterior features include black door handles, front and rear mudflaps and a dark grey radiator grille. The L specification level adds an anti-theft alarm with remote-controlled central locking, power-operated windows, steering wheel-mounted audio controls and a full centre console with lid.
